"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted"

I will admit it, I cried myself to sleep the first night. But don’t worry, I cried myself the last night for the opposite reason. Treat the people you meet here as family and they will do the same. I will miss Uganda and all my friends here so much. I am going to miss Rolexes (omelette wrapped in chappati with cabbage, tomatoes and onions), hopping on the back of a bodaboda (motorcycle taxi), the African time, the music, the dance, the “muzungu how are you?” from children, the avocadoes, pineapple, sweet bananas, using rain as an excuse to relax or coming late, having Isaac on my side as my bodyguard in nightclubs.
I am excited to return to a world where pedestrians have the right of way, but transitioning into the life at home will be strange. Thank you Isaac and the team for making my stay in Uganda meaningful
